點樣先可以知 Model 名稱ar??
一部電腦,包含好多元件至可以運作,主要分為兩大類,就係硬件(Hardware)同軟件(Software).基本硬件就同Chris兄所述,首先要有底板(Mother Board),所有其它Hardware都連接係Mother Board 上,有左Mother Board 之後,就輪到"中央處理器"(Central Processer Unit, 簡稱CPU),CPU 係"腦", 冇左佢,部機就唔識做任何野.大多數人而家所用CPU甴AMD or Intel 製造, AMD通常平D,但係運作時產生熱量高過Intel.所以如果周AMD,散熱系統要設計良好,否則"燒機".不管邊隻CPU,係佢上面,就要接連"fan" and "Heat Sink"黎散熱.有左呢兩樣野,跟隹就到Ram (唔識中文叫乜,英文全名Ramdon Access Memory, 簡稱"Ram" ),呢個野係當電腦運作時,將D常用"程式"暫時記係佢到,以增快電腦操作過程,就等如你張書檯,The bigger, the better. 因為可以放多D野係度,唔駛張D野放番好至有位置放新野係上面.再黎輪到硬碟(Hard Drive), Hard Drive 就等如櫃桶,又係愈大愈好,因為可以放多D野入去.咁Hard Drive 同Ram 有乜分別呢? Hard Drive 用黎儲存用唔到"口既"野,Ram就儲存用緊"口既"野,再黎係Video Card (唔知中文叫乜),呢個係用黎連接Monitor.冇左佢,就無法便Monitor連作.跟往輪到Sound Card (又係唔知中文叫乜). Sound Card 係接Head Set or Speaker so that we can hear sound or music from the machine (Sometime you don't need sound card because it build in with the mother board). Next should be CD-Rom or DVD-Rom. These units are for reading CD or DVD. Next will be a "modem" or "network card". Either of these unit is for connect the machine to Internet. Modem is quite slow. Nowaday, most ppl using Network card to "build" a little network and connected to a "High Speed Modem" (Provided by ISP), then connected to the net. With all these hooked up amd put all these into a little box, which we call it "case", the machine is ready to operate. The case normally comes with a transformer and it also hook to the mother board. Now, you need to communicate with the machine, therefore, you need a monitor so that you can read, a mouse and keyboard so that you can communicate with the computer. With all of above, there is your basic computer. Of course, the most important thing that can not miss, you need to plug the unit into a power unit.
Even tho, you still need some software to run the computer. First of all is the "Operating System". Without the operating system, the machine is just as stupid as me, It can not boot up or do anything. There are a few operating system in the market such as "Windows" by Microsoft, "Linux" by different open sources or "OS" by Apple. After you install the operating system, the machine now can run. But still need some other software to do certain jobs. For example, Microsoft word to do word processing. I-View to watch pictures and simple pictures editing. Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation etc. There are so many software in the market, depends on what your purpose and what you need. For graphic designer, Adobe PhotoShop is a must to have. This software is for editing photo, a very powerful software to do the job.
