A glimpse of the Tang Dynasty

  The Golden Age of China is considered to be the Tang Dynasty (AD618-907). Visitors to Singapore have the chane to experience life in this Golden Age at Asia's largest historical theme park., the Tang Dynasty City. This US$5.5 million, 12-hectare park is divided into: a market place, the Imperial City , and the countryside . Here visitors can see merchants in authentic Tang Dynasty dress plying their trade in the street , an old fashioned wedding procession with musicians and dancers , and swordsmen displaying kung-fu skills. Tang Dynasty City is a 25-minute drive from the city centre . Admission is S$15 for adults , S$10 for children . Open 9:30 am to 8 pm daily.
