For users receiving "Patching Failed" error: A number of users have reported problems patching their game. If you are having problems, check the Battlefield 2 folder in your "My Documents" folder. There will be a "dmp" directory that includes the patch log - you can get some hints on how to fix your problems from there. One common problem is insufficient disk space - due to the way the patch works you may need approximately 700 megabytes of free disk space.
Start -> Run -> Regedit
Click to the following folders:
